As the owner of more than a few affiliate marketing web sites, I’m often asked about affiliate networks and the best networks to become a part of. I’m going to give you my two favorites below, but first, I’ll explain what an affiliate network is, and what you should be checking out before making your final decision.
An affiliate network is a large site that sponsors a variety of merchants that have affiliate offerings. This is helpful because not only are all of the merchants in one place, you will get ONE combined check from the affiliate network, instead of smaller, individual checks from each merchant.
When selecting a network to become part of, one of the most important things you should look for is the minimum amount of sales needed before you get paid. Some networks pay for each sale regardless of the amount, some set minimum commission amounts of $50 – $500 and up before they will send payment out. If you are a member of too many networks, it might take a while to get to the minimum and get paid. That’s why you should start with just a few at first.
As you can imagine, unless you’re already a super affiliate, you’ll want to start with the affiliate network that has the lowest minimum payout threshold – and it wouldn’t hurt if they paid your PayPal fees either!
Affiliate Networks who have all that to offer are sometimes hard to find, but here are the two I recommend:
MyHelpHub – for sales made through this great affiliate network – they pay ALL your PayPal fees – forever. This is the only affiliate network that I’m aware of that does this. If you know of others, feel free to comment below. They also have very low minimums before payment is made, and in fact, I’ve received payments for as little as $3.00 from them!
My second favorite is MarketHealth. If you’ve ever been to an Affiliate Summit or Affiliate Convention you probably have one of their nice bags. They have a $20 minimum before payment is made, and since the payout on most products is over $30.00, it’s not hard to make the minimum. They offer many of the best-selling health and beauty products on the market today.
Both of these networks are two-tier. This means you will not only make money on the sales you make, but if someone that you’ve sent to the site signs up to become an affiliate marketer of the product, you will also get 5% commission on their sales!
So you could get paid twice for one referral to an affiliate network. That’s working smarter, NOT harder!

CPA networks take advantage of the ability to get higher commission rates due to their high volume, which they pass in part down to their affiliates.

I really like the concept, because it gives you the opportunity to build and grow either one big authority website, or a group of smaller sites around one particular niche.
