Finding Affiliate Marketers for Your Product

If you read enough information on Affiliate Marketing, you will find that the most profitable affiliate marketing product is the one you develop and own yourself. However, when you are the owner of the product, you will want to attract affiliates to help you sell it. So, one of the biggest questions affiliate marketers have is:

How do I find affiliates who are interested in my product?

Unfortunately, there is no easy way to do this, but I can give you a few hints if you have a good niche marketing product:

Search for web sites currently marketing in your Niche (or a complementary niche), find their contact information, and present your program to them. Look for people that probably already have lists (sign-up forms on the home page, etc.).

Do PPC advertising for niche marketing affiliates – using your niche keywords, or affiliate-related keywords (one that comes to mind is “affiliates wanted for xxx product.” Maybe even use some FFA sites and post small classified ads to attract affiliates.

Make sure your contact information is also on your site so people can contact you if they want to become affiliates.

Offer a free giveaway that affiliates can send to their lists.  And, make sure it’s brandable.  Affiliates are always looking for something that they can send to their list for free, and when your book is brandable (meaning they can add their affiliate link to it), they are sure to make the mailing a high priority.

Usually, you cannot post live links on forums, but the way to work within forums is to have a good signature file that is more like a mini-ad.

Your signature file should resemble a PPC ad. It’s there to draw people’s attention to your site.

Then start answering other people’s questions, or asking SPECIFIC questions in a certain area of your niche that you might be having a problem with. This will get your signature to show up often, and if you’re giving good advice, you will soon become known as an expert on your particular niche product.

Looking for affiliates requires a lot of time and effort, but it’s worth doing to find those affiliates in your niche.

Just one good affiliate could mean big profits for your product. You just need to work diligently until you find him/her.
