Rejected by ReviewMe
I was quietly reading my preferred Niche Marketing news blogs today when I read an article that mentioned where a blogger can get paid for writing reviews. I checked out the ReviewMe site and found out that they (or rather the Merchants they work with) would pay me between $20 and $200 for writing a simple review! I figured that was a good deal – I’m writing anyway, why not get paid for it?
I quickly filled out the form, with anticipation of having a lot of extra Holiday money to spend this year – and then – BAM! They rejected me! Â
Then I went in search of an explanation and I found this in their FAQ: “To be accepted into ReviewMe, a blog must meet a minimum number of citations, subscribers, and traffic.”
Â
I guess my blog isn’t popular enough for ReviewMe, which doesn’t really make me that sad now that I think about it. In the long-run, a review of a Niche Product with my affiliate link attached would probably make more money over time than a one time payment for the review (you can’t put Affiliate links in paid reviews).
However, the reason I’m writing this is to also let you know that if you want to get a review of your niche product done, and have it put on someone’s blog, you can submit a request at ReviewMe.Â
There are tons of bloggers that have High PR sites that will be glad to write a review for your product – for a small fee, of course. I just won’t be one of them for a while longer. . .

Lol…man, my site has good traffic and reasonably good quality blogs as well. I still got rejected by ReviewMe with similar explanations. Later I figured out that they need high PR websites and mine is a relatively new site that has not allotted a PR yet. Hope once the PR is up, they approve my blog.
