Two Tier Affiliate Marketing Best Opportunities

When deciding what to concentrate on in their affiliate marketing endeavors, some affiliates decide that it’s best to concentrate on two tier affiliate marketing. But there are a few reasons that this isn’t the best path to follow.

Two tier affiliate marketing basically means that you find Merchants who offer commissions not only on your sales, but on the sales of everyone who signs up under you. Then you can either concentrate on:

1) selling the merchant’s products for full commission, OR

2) finding other affiliates to sell the merchants products and collecting a small referral fee from those affiliates.

In my opinion, it’s not wise to JUST concentrate on finding other affiliates to market the product. Why? Because the commission is much smaller, and a lot of the affiliates you find may never make a sale.

It’s a better option to market the PRODUCT for a merchant that has a two-tier affiliate marketing program, and then if someone is interested in the product, they will click on your link.

They will also click on it if they are thinking about selling that product, and find your information while they’re doing their research. They will end up on the merchant’s site through your link, and look for the Affiliate link. You still get credit for the referral, and the 2nd tier commissions.

It’s really up to you, and what you want to concentrate your efforts on. The one thing I can do though, is tell you about two of the best two tier affiliate marketing merchants that I have found. They are:

=> MarketHealth (Health & Fitness niche)
=> MyHelpHub (Self-Help niche)

Whatever you decide, there IS money to be made – so test both ways with your niche. Most likely you will find whatever works best in just a short time.
